A note from the Chairman of the Steering Committee, Mike Nagele

Just a note to update all village residents that the deadline for the return of further questionnaires has now passed but, of course, any villager can still express their further views at any time on any issue to a member of the Steering Committee or direct to myself.

In total we received a 66% overall response. This included those residents at Weedon Hill and Rectory Farm. The winners of the Five Elms voucher draw, held on 26th November, were Nigel & Ina Smith of Manor Fields, Northcroft.

There now follows an in depth analysis of all the answers to the questionnaires plus the various additional comments of which many will be most useful in determining future strategy.  Following this analysis each Working Group will consider its relevant response and subsequent recommended actions for the future direction of the village.

I will, in due course, keep all residents updated on future developments of the Parish Plan along with details of any further village meetings concerning the progress of our Plan.  Again my sincere thanks to all those who returned their completed questionnaires.
