BUCKS BEST KEPT VILLAGE 2018 - WE WON!

This year we were back in our category of villages with 500 or fewer residents, and have WON the Gurney Cup, with an excellent score of 89 out of the possible 100.

In 2016 we won the Gurney Cup, and the Sword of Excellence. In 2017 we were Runners-Up in the Tindal Cup for the previous year's winners. So we've had a very creditable last 3 years in this prestigious contest.

The presentations will take place in the village on Saturday 15th September (time to be confirmed).

VILLAGE EVENTS

As the summer holiday period is upon us, there are no WVA events until September. On Sunday 2nd September it's the Party in the Park, with live jazz and BBQ, followed the next week by the Horticultural Show on Saturday 8th September. Find out more here

Tuesday Club carries on throughout the year on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, and the Schoolroom Cafe is every 1st Friday. The pub holds special themed evenings on a regular basis.
