You are here: HomeParish CouncilPlanning Applications

The public are most welcome at Parish Council meetings. We always have an Open Forum at the beginning of the meeting where you can raise ANY issues of concern. When we look at Planning Applications, the procedure is as follows:  For each application, we invite the applicant to speak in support, followed by comments from other parishioners.

The Parish Council has the status of a consultee only, and can decide to SUPPORT the application, OPPOSE it, or make NO COMMENT.  Support or opposition responses will be backed up by written arguments and evidence.

On 10th April 2013, AVDC's Strategic Development Control Committee voted to REFUSE 12/02529 and 12/02850, and that if they had been in a position to do so, they would have REFUSED 12/00739. Applications 12/02850/AOP and 12/02529/AOP also went to Appeal.

The appeals were heard in 2013 jointly with two other Aylesbury MDA applications - Fleet Marston and Hampden Fields. The appeal hearings took place towards the end of 2013, and Joanna Rose for Weedon PC and Mr John Charnock of Weedon Hill addressed the appeal hearing, speaking in opposition to the applications.
