Weedon Parish Council represents the parish of Weedon which includes Weedon, East End,
Rectory Farm and "old" Weedon Hill. Buckingham Park became a separate parish with its own parish council in May 2011.
Six council meetings are held each year. In addition there is an Annual Meeting and an Annual Parish Meeting.
All meetings are public and residents are very welcome to attend.
All meetings are publicised on the village notice boards and the website.
Meetings follow a published agenda. Items for discussion must be notified to the Parish Clerk
at least seven days before the meeting.
The Parish Council is asked to comment on planning applications. Additional planning meetings
are held as required and are publicised as above. These meetings are opportunities for residents
to express their views and the Parish Council can pass these to the Planning Authority -
Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) for the majority of applications; Bucks County Council
for education, highways and waste management.
