James was born in 1847 and married Elizabeth in 1871, he was the eldest son of William and Elizabeth nee Stranks with three brothers and five sisters. James was a wheelwright and his house in the High Street is now known as ‘Wheeler Jim’s’. Elizabeth was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Rolls and the sister of Edmund. Her mother was the first to be buried in Weedon Chapel. Clara was unmarried and the youngest of their ten children.
