The churches of St Mary's Parish Church, Hardwick and Weedon Methodist Church work in a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP), built on many years of good relationships between the congregations.

All the services taking place within the LEP are listed below. You will be made very welcome at any of these services.

Events: Stride & Picnic is a sponsored family walk from Weedon Chapel to St Mary's Hardwick and back starting at 11.15am on Sunday 14th September and culminating with a bring your own picnic at the Weedon Paly Area.  All funds raised will go towards upkeep of our churches and a donation to the Bucks Historic Churches Trust.

The Harvest Festival and Harvest Supper will take place on Sunday 5th October at St Mary's and the John Bridles Hall respectively.

Weedon Methodist Chapel

The Victorian chapel with its oak pews, panelled communion area and two beautiful stained glass windows (one showing The Last Supper) is often described as a 'haven of peace'.

It is a very popular venue for weddings, and when fully opened up can hold up to 150 people. Its lawns surrounded by trees and shurbs make an ideal setting for photo calls. There is adequate parking on the road in front of the chapel, plus full disabled access and disabled toilet.

Funeral and memorial services can also be held in the chapel.

Chapel History

Local resident Ralph Followell has written a history of the Chapel and its stained glass window.
